Blessed Alphonsa of the
Immaculate Conception

"Faith and Education Together Build Character."

Blessed Alphonsa (1910–1946), the first woman from India to be canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church, is the patron saint of our institution. Born Anna Muttathupadathu in Kerala, her life of extraordinary suffering borne with remarkable faith and joy continues to inspire generations of students.

Her Franciscan spirituality — marked by humility, love for the poor, and total surrender to God — forms the spiritual foundation of our school's ethos and educational philosophy.
